I know the team is aware of this, but I just wanted to make a dedicated “feature request” thread to make sure it stays on their radar.
Please let us control the Oasis Mini without having to be on the same WiFi network (either via Bluetooth or simply via the internet). I bought this for my office and the WiFi here is secured and does not allow peer-to-peer device communication on it. So until things change, it’s a $120 paperweight.
Also, I know that some people have had luck using their phone as a hotspot to control to their Oasis. I don’t know if it’s my signal or my phone or what, but that strategy has not worked for me and I have tried it many different ways.
