If I set up my playlist for my oasis and leave the house, with my phone, will the oasis stop? Does it need to be in proximity to my phone, or at least on the same wifi network to continue working? Thanks.

Oasis Mini will not stop. Once you press Play, your Oasis Mini does not need the app or phone to be connected.
The unit works as a standalone device.
