What does the little hour glass button and the spiral button do?

Hourglass = pause between patterns.
Spiral = play wipe pattern between patterns is n your playlist.
These are also switches in Preferences if you tap the logo at top-right.

I am assuming the spiral button has been removed in app updates? Mine app does not have it.
