What do different sized balls do the overall picture?

Do smaller balls mean more precise drawings? What happens if I add even smaller balls?

There is only 1 magnet in the device so adding additional bearings could chain them within reason but eventually their paths may collide or have unwanted effects.

Different sized bearings could change pattern outcome.
Zach has suggested that beta testers can experiment with their own bearings at their own risk.

I’ve slowly accumulated different glitters - bearings may be next.
I was sort of waiting for more substrate and bearings via stretch goals.

I did a test on this with interesting results. Large, small, then medium bearing.
