Question: Power consumption / Heat dissipation

Hello,

I was wondering if this is normal. When powering up the device draws like 800mA @ 5.4V from the original power brick. Even when manually putting the device to sleep via quick press the button … it drops to only 600mA @ 5.4V. The light is off but … come on … where does the power goto?

I fear that there is some kind of fault/shortage … can somebody confirm the power consumption?

Come on … nobody has a USB Power tester?

I mean most people like me aren’t even able to make the bloody thing draw any pattern, so power consumption (at least for me) isn’t a concern right now since I haven’t even tried powering on for a week now.
