Title pretty much says it. I would like to position this device in a space where I will not have a reliable wi-fi connection. I could use Bluetooth, but no wi-fi. I tried to hotspot my phone, but the app did not pick it up to connect.
Soooo, did I buy a brick?
At this time, it needs wi-fi to connect and interact with it. It also needs wi-fi to download the tracks. I’m not sure how much memory is on it to be able to pre-download a set number of images and then be able to operate in an “offline mode”, but that feature has not been implemented anyway.
