This device is utter trash

So here were are, complaint #infinity

I don’t know what is up with this device (and company). At first my device arrived with the “wood” finished bubbly all around. Sent a message to Grounded. No response.

After a day my machine started making scraping noises. Sent a message to Grounded. No response.

Now my lines are no longer straight. The center… Well i don’t even know what that is. So i just sent a third message to Grounded. This device is trash. Truly.

I was so excited to see this being announced on Kickstarter. A device i have dreamed of, in a mini size. Shipping before holidays 2023. So it would be in time for my birthday. Great!

As we all know. We got delay after delay. Promises that weren’t fullfilled. But hey, i kept hoping.

Then deliveries were starting, and bad reviews started to come in. Hoping that de delays to EU meant that we would get a polished version of the device shipped to our door.

Again mulitple promises, but delays. 9 months overdue my device arrived. I was thrilled. Untill i opened the package and saw the disaster of the rim. The device worked, for 2 patterns.

There goes my money, the insane shipping and customs fees of $65. Over half of the price of the product itself. Bye bye money. Hello trashy device

I know i’m not the only one. I just wanted to complain. The forum of the company that made this thing felt like the best place to do so!

I feel you, at least you got two patterns, only got one so far.

I mean it’s not like i’m still trying to print anything for last couple of days. I don’t see how can it resolve itself without a firmware update (in the hope that is only software related problems, even though I’ve seen people complaining about the internals).
